"Rob Papen BLUE-III: Crossfusion Synth Combining Subtractive and FM Synthesis — Now 33% Off!"
June 24, 2025
Originally released in 2005, the first version of BLUE reflected Rob Papen’s forward-thinking, creative, and—above all—musical approach to virtual synthesizer design. By combining subtractive synthesis and FM synthesis into a single, unified concept, Papen coined the term "Crossfusion Synthesis" to describe this hybrid method. With the arrival of BLUE-II, this Crossfusion approach was further expanded—introducing creative sample playback capabilities and an extremely versatile XY pad for deeper modulation and sound design.
