Goodhertz DC19 Review: A Creative, Playable Delay with Rich Analog Sound
June 15, 2025
In terms of sound design, DC19 combines tape saturation, filtering, and spring reverb as its core tone-shaping components. Each of these elements has a distinctly analog character, making the plugin a great fit for lo-fi textures or dub-style delays. The feedback control, a standard feature in delay plugins, is implemented here as a simple slider—but it’s notably responsive and easy to read, allowing for precise control over the feedback amount. As with other Goodhertz plugins, the interface may seem complex at first glance. But once you begin to interact with it, it becomes clear that everything has been thoughtfully designed. The UI isn’t just about looks—it genuinely supports a smooth, intuitive workflow.
